"In the first 3 months, we received 6 enquiries that have led to quotations in excess of £750,000 and a 1st order from a new client worth £158,000. The profit from this first job alone will cover our first year (PPC) fees by a factor of 10."

Pay Per Click advertising - the best advertising initiative for 50 years

Traditional 'interuption' based media is now too costly for most companies

I have worked in marketing for over 20 years and had success using all the traditional 'interuption / outbound' media including TV, radio, cinema, magazines, national and local press, direct mail and door drops. Brands face so much competition today and trying to find a customer who wants to buy your product 'now' is like looking for a needle in a haystack. And you almost certainly don't have enough budget using traditional media, to reach every prospect, every week.

PPC is a great way to attract web leads

In comparison to traditional media, (especially for small and mid-sized companies) Pay Per Click advertising (PPC), is a great way to attract target leads to your website because:

  • you only advertise to people currently interested in what you are selling
  • you only pay when they respond (i.e. click to your website)
  • pricing is determined by a real-time auction in a perfect market
  • you control how much you want to pay for a click; your daily budget; which keywords you are interested in; what time of day your ads are shown; which parts of the country / world they appear
  • you get great performance analysis helping to improve web marketing ROI

Google Pay Per ClickPPC expert Peter Hawtin

Google is the number one search engine and I have used Google Adwords to help clients attract web leads since 2003. In addition to attracting valuable customers, it can be a great research tool to identify:

  • which keywords work best for SEO
  • which ad copy is most compelling for use in other marketing materials
  • whether there is a demand for a new product or service
  • which product name is most attractive to prospects

Facebook advertising

Facebook advertising is a more recent arrival that can connect your brand with over 500 million potential customers. A key difference to Google Pay PPC is the ability to select your audience by their Facebook interests.
