Most people understand the importance of SEO and that quality inbound links boost Google rankings and deliver leads but how much is a link to your website worth?

If on average, a customers spends £100 four times a year then the sales per customer = £400.

If a quality link attracts just 5 web visitors a day, this would result in 1,825 visitors over a year. Given a, conversion rate of 2% this would result in 36 new customers and additional annual sales of £14,400.

If the margin was 50%, the additional value of a link would be over £7,000.

In addition, good quality inbound links boost Google rankings which would result in additional web visits (and sales) via organic search.
